Book a tour with Jamaica MAX and ride in style and comfort. Here are some of the many JUTA licensed drivers we are affiliated with. Each of our drivers is licensed and insured and when I say licensed I know for a fact that they took and passed the drivers exam. Our drivers DID NOT buy their Jamaican drivers license as is so very common amongst the many so called illiterate “legal drivers” in Jamaica who could not possibly have taken the test. Illiteracy is not a crime but cheating on the drivers test is and many so called taxi drivers are crooks who paid other crooks to give them a license. It’s these illegal drivers that cannot control their speed and race around this island in some sort of race against time and death. Be careful of who your driver is and make certain they understand you’re on vacation and in no rush.

Ras Slick and his Noah
My good friend Ras Slick has a van. I just keep forgetting to post the darn pics. Slick is a super cool dude with a real understanding of “people from farrin” and the many cultures that exist in the world. He’s an educated yojng man who has worked in entertainment at many large resorts in Jamaica and has excellent people skills and experience dealing with tourists in Jamaica.

I was introduced to Ras Noble at The Jungle Night Club in Negril where he is not only a favorite driver but also part of the entertainment as a reggae artist and performer at many local events. Noble is a top notch tour guide with years of experience under his belt entertaining guests as their Jamaican tour guide and developing friendships and long term relationships along the way.
