Scotland is a stunning country and fantastic holiday destination for those who love the great outdoors. There is so much to see and do as well as a rich heritage to learn all about! It currently has the title of ‘outdoor adventure capital of Europe’ thanks to the range of sporting activities it has to offer. Things like canyoning, sea kayaking, Go Karting and climbing are extremely popular and draw in thrill seekers from across the world. Which so much to do it is no wonder that the Scottish tourism industry grew by 9% in 2011 and now employs over 215,000 people! In Scotland there are museums and castles enough to satisfy even the most fervent history lover. There is also a great mystery surrounding the country with tales like that of the Loch Ness Monster. This infographic – The UK’s Seven Wonders – demonstrates some of the amazing landmarks that the UK is home to. From Ireland’s incredible Giant’s Causeway, which looks like stepping stones in the sea but is actually made up of columns of basalt, to York Minster, a phenomenal cathedral which took around 250 years to build.

The sites are extremely popular with tourists to the UK, probably because of the rich and intriguing history that surrounds each of them. One of the most mysterious landmarks is Stonehenge; an ancient collection of giant rocks which continues to baffle scientists even today. Why were they placed there? Who moved them? And how? The sheer size and weight of the stones only serves to add more confusion, as scientists believe they were moved thousands of years ago, when people would only have had the most basic of tools. Whatever the answer, it’s clear that this landmark, along with the many others in the UK, will continue to attract and inspire tourists for years to come!

There are beautiful places on this planet, some more than others.  It seems to me like many people never actually experience the true beauty that the planet has to offer.  When planning our latest family vacation we took a look around to find beautiful places to go, with equally beautiful and exotic wildlife.  I prefer tropical islands myself.  Through my research I began to find wonderful stories about Galapagos Cruises, which motivated me to research Galapagos further.

So someone sent me a text message that Sizzla was deadand I was shocked because last I heard he was doing much better from his accident but according to the we it’s a fake celebrity death story. Sizzla is not dead and actuyally getting ready to hit the road again.

Sizzla is not dead. False death reports about Sizzla Kalonji are swirling uncontrollably Saturday; the fame reggae musician, however, confirmed to news just Thursday that he is doing well after a recent accident. Unlike other recent fake celebrity death stories, today’s allegations about Sizzla don’t appear to have originated from the usual dubious origins. Sizzla Kalonji two days ago confirmed to news that he is doing well and is anxious to return to his music. In a news statement Thursday, Sizzla said “I am feeling very strong, healthy, and I am coming along well. Thanks to the Most High Jah Rastafari.”

Being someone who’s concerned about money has gotten me far in life. It helped me save up to buy my first carwhen I was only 17 and now here I am at 26 and I own my house outright. Basically I just try to put very few things on credit and use cash whenever I can – I find it helps me keep my casual spending in check. There’s something to be said for staying in and not eating out as much, going to movies, etc. but I’ve found over the years that there’s a good balance of living your life and trying to cut back where you can. For example, I went to Direct.tv and got satellite TV because I WANTED it, not because I couldn’t live without it, and it means I spend more Saturdays at home watching games now than going to sports bars which ultimately saves me money. There are lots of things people can do to get a handle on their spending without totally changing their life.

The Caribbean Sea has always played an important role in the lives of many Jamaicans and has been a vital source of food since people first inhabited the island centuries ago but if things do not change in Jamaica this may be the last generation to be able to live from the sea.

Jamaica has become the most overfished country in the Caribbean according to reports on HospitalityJamaica.com and by the Bluefields Bay Fishermen Friendly Society which has worked hard to create a sanctuary in the waters of Bluefields Bay.

Vybz Kartel Arrested for Murder

Vybz Kartel has been arrested on multiple charges including murder and personally I do not find this shocking at all. Not only are his lyrics foul and violent towards everyone but for anyone who actually met him and his “Gaza” gang you would recognize that it was no act, these guys are real criminals and not the type of people who should be idolized by anyone but especially the youth of an entire nation.

Jamaican youth all across the island idolize Vybz Kartel along with his rival Mavado and their feud or the “Gaza” vs “Gully” war which has raged on for too long is destroying the country. Jamaican youth have a morbid fascination with guns and gun violence and it has ruined the lives of countless 1000′s of children from all parts of Jamaica.

I never realized how much an influence American media has been in Jamaica until I spent time with them and cam to understand that it was rap music and violent movies that had shaped their ideas and vision of the outside world. Jamaican youth grow up beliveing that we actually all live the gangsta lifestyle complete with gun battles and drug deals on a daily basis. Many Jamaican youth have a very distorted view of the world and what life is like for people “from farrin” and the music influences of American music are evident all over the island.

Guys like Vybz Kartel and his posse of gun toting gangsters are not the idols that Jamaican youth should be listening too but now we see that the influence has spread and “Gaza” is becoming another war zone in Jamaica. How many war zones and bad areas does one island need?
